Who sells RenterRescue products, what you get, what it costs, and what the kit and report are not.

Who you are buying from
RenterRescue is a digital product published and sold by Roy Stewart McPherson trading as Prevail Partners, ABN 32 474 956 639, based in Brisbane, Queensland. In these terms, "we" and "us" means that seller. You can contact us at hello@renterrescue.com.au.
Payments are processed by Stripe. The seller named above supplies your product and handles support and refunds.
What you get
- QLD Rent Increase & Renewal Kit (A$29). A downloadable PDF information guide for Queensland tenants about rent increase rules, cost comparison worksheets and template letters, plus the letters as plain-text files.
- Kit plus personalised report (A$59). The kit, plus access to a report built in your own web browser from the figures and dates you enter into the free check.
Prices are in Australian dollars and are the total you pay. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.
We email your download link after payment. Download and report links stay valid for 90 days. If one expires, write to us and we will send a new one.
Information, not advice
The kit, the report, the free check and this website give general information about Queensland tenancy rules and help you work through your own numbers. They are not legal advice, financial advice or advice about your particular situation. Nothing we sell was written or checked by a lawyer.
The report applies general rules to the figures and dates you enter. It does not know anything else about your tenancy, nobody reviews it, and any date it shows is arithmetic on your entries. Check dates against your notice and with the RTA, and get free advice from QSTARS (1300 744 263) before you rely on a deadline.
Template letters are starting points. You choose whether to use them, what to change, and whether to send them. We never contact your landlord, property manager or anyone else for you.
Your consumer rights
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. We also offer a 14-day change-of-mind refund; see Refunds. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Using what you buy
The kit and report are for your own use, and for the people in your household helping with the same tenancy. Please do not resell them or share them publicly. Quoting a few lines with a link back is fine.
Accuracy and changes
We check every legal statement against the Queensland tenancy Act and the RTA and print the date we checked it. Rules and official pages change. If we find an error in the kit we will correct it and, if you bought the affected edition, email you the corrected version.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, and subject always to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for loss arising from decisions you make using general information from us. Where our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the product again or refunding what you paid.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
